Caritas Hellas, the charitable organization of the Catholic Church of Greece, in the context of “Safe Accommodation & Social Services for Vulnerable Refugees” and “Emergency Response to the Refugee Crisis” programs, is opening, on Friday 24 June, a new Social Services Centre.
The centre will provide legal and social support to migrants and refugees as well as information on issues of their concern. The services will be provided to all the aforementioned beneficiaries, regardless of their legal status, and in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental institutions.
In particular, in the context of social support, a special lessons and activities room for mothers and children will be operating. Moreover, in the context of psychosocial support, cultural and other activities will be organised, aiming at the social integration of refugees and migrants in Greece.
